OUR PROJECTS

BANNERS AND SIGNAGE

We were asked by JM construction to install one of their banners to advertise their company. They were converting an old mill in Leeds and the banner faced onto a bypass going in and out of the city.

We were asked back to install a further banner on the bottom of the original as you can see pictured.

Whilst working on a Ibis hotel doing cladding works we were asked if we could assist with the replacement of the hotel letters as it was to high for any of the cherry pickers to reach and to late in the project to erect any new scaffolding.

STONE MASONRY

Over the years Bespoke Access Solutions has had a wide variety of stone masonry contracts with a number of different clients.

Seen pictured is a bridge repair contracts on a viaduct in Yorkshire. The technicians are using a range of rope access techniques to get themselves into position to carry out tasks. Another reason why rope access is becoming so popular within the construction industry. The ability to be versatile and flexible, getting to places traditional methods can't.

SURVEYS

Surveys are part of our daily works and often need to be done before works can proceed in order to get a fuller picture of what work is required.

These can be concrete tap tests, visual surveys, sample surveys or others. We are deadicated in giving our clients or potential clients the best possible information, for them to go away and plan works.

Pictured is a survey we did on a railway vent shaft where we had to survey ring dams, hoppers, and the general condition of the brickwork. Something that can only be done via rope access. Also pictured is a core drilling survey where the client needed a better understanding of why the vent wall was bulging. Finally there is concrete survey where we had to tap test the concrete and make safe.

STEEL ERECTING

Bespoke Access Solutions were brought in to help with the construction of a brand new screen house at a quarry in the midlands.

The traditional methods that the client had used in the past were MEWP's and scaffolding. This however wasn't an effective method for this particular project. We were able to offer bespoke solutions for a variety of different task within the build.

WINDOW CLEANING

One of the more common jobs we have is window cleaning. Whether it be traditional reach and wash from areas where access is awkward, or if it's the side of a multi-story building. Bespoke access solutions will always offer a quality service.

CONCRETE REPAIRS

Concrete repairs have become more frequent over the past few years. With the changes in building regulations and buildings growing older. It's important for owners to keep on top of building maintenance to avoid accidents and further repair costs.

GLAZING

Glazing repairs via rope access are often cheaper and more effective than other traditional access solutions, mainly due to our fast mobilization and low environmental impact we have on the building and the general public.

GENERAL BUILDING MAINTENANCE

With rope access being so bespoke and versatile. We can offer access solutions that don't require starting from the floor, or require a mass amount of scaffolding to bridge over gaps or roofs. As previuosly stated we have a low environmental impact on the surroundings and general public. Meaning we can avoid the need for council permits or road closures that require weeks of planning and are costly to the client.

PAINTING

Painting via rope access has gained serious momentum over the years with clients seeing how easy and cost effective it is.

The project pictured is a perfect example of when rope access has been the only real means of access to a job. This is the meadowhall shopping centre and when the centre was being refurbished, the domes were overlooked and not painted.

All the kiosks and shops were re-installed awaiting opening so cherry pickers and scaffolding weren't and option. So we went in and access the domes via walkways and roof voids, then aid climbed into position to commence works.

CLADDING WORKS

Cladding has seen a huge rise in work due to the unfortunate advents of the Grenfell Tower fires and the overhual in legislation. Rope access has had key role in surveying and replacement of cladding where necessary. We helped a client on a project on a Ibis hotel where the whole building needed to be taken off and recladded.

There were certain areas where you just couldn't get to with any other means than rope access. Which is where we came in and worked hand in hand with the cladding team.

INDUSTRIAL CLEANING

We get approached from a lot of companies for industrial cleaning as seen pictured, when they have summer shut downs or weekend shut downs. Where we can come in and clean without worrying about interfering or contaminating production lines.
